Working with Cyndi has been the most transformative therapy I’ve experienced. Through the years I’ve had many counselors. I feel most comfortable with Cyndi. She introduced me to Internal Family Systems, which has entirely reframed how I view my mental health and mindfulness. Her patience, kindness, wisdom, and guidance are unlike any I’ve yet to encounter. Oftentimes, I enter a session assuming we’ll address what I think is bothering me, and usually after 10 minutes she helps me realize what is actually going on underneath. I feel validated, secure, and understood when sharing my feelings. Cyndi has guided me through visioning, meditation, part-work, vent-sessions, and mindful questioning. The skills I continue to learn each session have really stuck with me in my day to day, and for that, I am so grateful.
Cyndi Wiedemann’s counseling style has been a great fit for me! I feel very lucky to have found her. She is patient, kind, knowledgable and supportive. My work with her supports my meditation practice and my spiritual growth. We often work with Internal Family Systems therapy which has been insightful, nurturing and healing. I highly recommend her as a therapist and practitioner of IFS therapy.
The impact Cyndi has had on my life in the last many months is immeasurable. She’s an angel with such a gift for creating and holding a loving, tender, powerful container for healing and transformation. I couldn’t be more grateful to have found her on Psychology Today. I was new to IFS and drawn to the creative approach after years of talk therapy. It feels like decades of “work” completed in months. The meditative, self-driven, “feminine” / yin approach to insight and integration is what our world needs.
My time with Cyndi has been transformative. At the beginning of 2020, I knew I struggled with anxiety and depression but I felt I had it mostly under control. But then, Covid 19 came into our lives. The stress, fear, and uncertainty of it all caused my anxiety to spin out of control and I knew I needed help. Cyndi has helped me to work through generational and childhood trauma to help to heal my past. She has helped me to see that the anxious, the insecure and the defensive part of me are just parts, not who I am. I feel I have been able to make peace with these parts of myself and it has made a huge difference in my life. I can honestly say that I have never felt better. Now, when stressors arise, I am better able to recognize the trigger and ask myself what I need to feel safe. I am so grateful for this work. If you are considering starting therapy, DO IT! The work is challenging but it will change your life.
Cyndi has supported me in developing tools that add richness, calm, and compassion to my life. She is intuitive, compassionate, and supportive; and has brought all of these qualities to her work with me. With Cyndi, I have been supported in uncovering patterns and habits in ways that support my development and enjoyment of my life.
When I first started working with Cyndi, she was able to quickly connect with me and make me feel comfortable in a way that allowed me to start my healing journey. She uses her experiences and knowledge to guide me through my trauma, unpack my past, and envision my future. I am extremely grateful for Cyndi and the positive impact she has made on my life.
